Joni Bentley's Reiki for horse and rider
therapy course is designed for riders who
want to become professional reiki for horses therapists and members of
Joni Bentley's Reiki for horse and rider therapy
association.
It is also for riders who just want to use Reiki heal for themselves, their friends
and their horses
It is incredible to think that
there are so many horse whisperers, osteopaths, physiotherapists and
many more practitioners out there, that treat horses without a thought
as to how the rider may be affecting the horse’s soundness. Does it make
sense to only treat a horse when it may be the rider, or even the
saddle, that is making the horse unsound?
Joni Bentley's Reiki for horses
therapy
Course is the only one of its kind that treats the horse’s problems
through the rider.
The suppleness and straightness
of the rider’s seat, hips and spine, have a great affect on the way the
horse’s hindquarters develop and function. For a horse to advance in his
training without breaking down, he must be allowed to use the correct
postural muscles. For this to happen the rider must be straight, supple
and fully able to absorb the horse’s movement throughout their body only
then can the horse move forwards with impulsion and lightness in a good
healthy outline.
If the rider’s seat bones are
locked or stiff through crookedness and tension, they prevent the horse from stepping under himself with
his hind legs and using the correct postural muscles, leaving his spine
unsupported and therefore vulnerable to injury. Blocked in this way by
the rider the horse can only respond by trailing his quarters. If the
rider has one stiff hip, like the one opposite, the horse will take a
short stride on that side and develop an unlevel action. This is
commonly known as bridle lameness, although I call it rider lameness.
Eventually the horse, like the rider, begins to suffer from lower back
problems and lameness. |
|
Joni Bentley's Reiki for horses therapy course not
only teaches horse and rider deep relaxations and bonding it also
teaches the rider how to be EQUAL ON BOTH REINS in order to
allow the horse to work correctly and powerfully behind. Only then will
he start to stretch his head and neck out of his shoulders and lower
himself onto the bit to achieve riding success without stress and pain.
Degree 1 and 11 of Joni Bentley's Reiki for
horse and rider course, not only attunes the rider to become a Reiki
practitioner it also addresses crookedness and stiffness in the riders. You
will learn how to heal horses and at the same time straighten rider to avoid injury in your clients riding future.

Joni
Bentley's Reiki
for horses is a very simple, gentle and effective system of transmitting universal
life-energy through hands-on-healing. It is used for healing the body,
emotions, mind, and spirit. The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese
characters: rei en ki.
Rei can be translated with 'universal'. Ki means life-energy or light.
The two characters together express the coming together of divine force
and the human being, or the unification of body and soul.
Universal life-force facilitates life, growth, healing,
transformation, manifestation, balance, inner peace, oneness and the
light in which we recognize the truth. And when your time has come it
will make the transition peaceful.
In itself Reiki is nothing special; everyone disposes to a certain
degree of Reiki.
You will instinctively put your hands on an injured body-part; mothers
kiss or caress the place where their child is hurt; animals will lick
their wounds, and if you have a close bond with your pet it could even
lick your wounds.
The amount of innate life-force however is often weak and unfocused. Now
this is where the healing system Reiki comes in: through a system of
attunements, symbols, simple techniques and some principles you can make
this power of the universe so much more useful. Anybody can learn how to
do this and after having taken a course you can immediately practice
healing .

| Joni Bentley Reiki for horses
uses the Usui Reiki Ryoho system using the three degrees or levels.
Through this training you
will gradually open up for a great amount of high vibrational
energy. |
|
Joni Bentley Reiki degree 1
Usui called the first degree in Reiki Shoden,
or First Teaching. You will learn to heal yourself and others.
After having received the initiation all you have to do is to
lay your hands on someone or something with the intent to heal
and the energy will flow through you. For the first month you
give yourself a treatment every day to build up the Reiki energy
flowing through you. Although you will receive your Reiki 1
certificate we recommend that you only treat friends, family,
horses, and pets. Bentley Hands on Practitioners will be asked
to send me a video of five riders that they have worked with in
their own time before qualifying as a practitioner. You can take
Reiki 2 two months after your first attunement, which will give
you more power and knowledge to heal and straighten riders and
their horses.
Joni Bentley Reiki degree 2 (2
months after Reiki 1)
This second level is called Okuden, or Inner
Teaching, in Japanese.
The most important thing in Okuden is learning to do absent or
distance healings. You are taught how to heal people or animals
not present, and how to send energy to a goal or situation.
You will receive another attunement which allows you to further
open up your energy system, and it is believed that the amount
of energy channelled with Reiki II is twice as much as the
energy of Reiki I.
Three symbols are now given, so you can consciously learn to
make use of them.
Joni Bentley Reiki degree 3 is the
third and final level of Reiki. From there you can go on to be a
Reiki Master
