Molly Paterson age 11.
My pony Gem stopped bucking when Joni put a pad under the saddle. I found out there was a trunk? It's all the horse's ribs! I saw a picture of the trunk in a book. I found out that doing right position left spiral was actually very hard but I got it in the end. I put my feet forward when I trot, its like kicking a football and stops me falling off when I jump. I put my hands forward when I jump its like giving someone a tray of juice because I don't want to hurt my horse's mouth. I keep my hands up and don't kick my pony. Annie Paterson age 8. |

On Sunday
I had a riding lesson on Freddie I really enjoyed it because the sun
was out and I had my riding teacher Joni and Freddie my pony
behaved. I like doing the bounce jumps and once he really flew over
them, it felt amazing. I like doing the turns, but not before the
jumps because he keeps fighting me to go over them. The left
position right spiral was hard but we got it in the end. I love
having Joni as my riding teacher.
